Description:

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) version High for VW MQB Cars. If you have retrofitted the TPMS sensor for 4 tires, do this coding. Otherwise, the malfunction lamp will turn on.

Coding:

Select Control Module "19 – Gateway"

Go to "Installation List":

  • Check 65-TPMS then click Write Coding

Select Control Module "03 - ABS Brakes" Enter Security Access: "20103"

Go to Long Coding:

  1. Byte 27 -> Bit 4,5,6 -> uncheck
  2. Byte 28 ->  Bit 7 -> uncheck

Select Control Module "17 - Instrument" -> Enter Security Access: "47115"

Go to Long Coding:

  1. Byte 3 ->  Bit 7 -> active(TPMS)
  2. Byte 4 ->  Bit 0 -> uncheck
  3. Byte 11 -> Bit 2 -> active (Tire Pressure Control BAP)

Select Control Module "5F - Information Elec."

Go to Adaptation:

Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2:

  1. tire_pressure_system_0x07 -> active
  2. tire_pressure_system_0x07_msg_bus -> Suspension Data bus

Select Control Module "65 - Tire Pressure" -> Enter Security Access: "20103"

Go to Adaptation:

  • Write sensor identification number -> wheel position "rear right"

Then a data record with the permitted tire sizes must be generated, which can then be transferred to the Control Module 65-TPMS with VCP
